WorkCover approached Engine with a problem. Staff weren’t filling out internal surveys, largely due to mistrust and a fear that honest feedback might come back to bite them. They asked us to create a friendly, approachable brand that would help staff feel more comfortable speaking up about workplace issues. I worked closely with the design team on the concepting phase, where we each developed a range of logo ideas. I then presented our concepts in a pitch meeting, and the client was really receptive. After a few rounds of feedback, one of my designs was selected. From there, I rolled it out across A4 flyer layouts and built a simple brand presence and style guide for future use.
